Teaching Gentle Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga for Beginners: A Weekend Training


Do you want to learn how to teach yoga to beginners? Do you want to teach restorative yoga classes or incorporate restorative yoga postures into your classes? Would you like to teach gentle yoga? Would you like to learn how to use props such as blocks, blankets, bolsters, or even a chair in your yoga practice? If so, register now for this amazing weekend yoga course!
This training is appropriate no matter if you’re already a teacher or a teacher in training, or if you’re a student that desires a deeper connection to your own practice and experience of yoga. Whatever your motivation, you will learn the art and science of teaching yoga to beginners, including the use of restorative poses and yoga props.

*We will meet in person at the Chicago studio September 18 & 19 from 12-6pm with a 15 minute break each day. This course will also be available on Zoom.*

Bio:

Alie McManus has studied yoga and meditation since 1994 and has been teaching since 1999. In each of Alie’s classes, she shares subtle, deep cuing, giving you tools to tune into your true essence. Alie continues to study with her primary teacher Erich Schiffmann, who taught her how to do her own yoga. Barbara Benagh has also significantly shaped Alie’s precise awareness of the beauty and intelligence of the breath, alignment, and sequencing. Alie leads global retreats, workshops, and teacher training modules, and she teaches via Zoom and at yogaview when home in Chicago.
